The unique hostel by the river
The entire inner city of Eksjö is listed due to its historical significance. So is this youth hostel located by the small river which flows through Eksjö. Färgaren, or the Coulourer as the building is called, was built in the 17th century, housing both guests and tons of history from the time when garments were hand colored. Here you can let a room with adjacent toilets, showers, and a large kitchen.
Just outside, you can enjoy the sound of the gentle Eksjö stream running alongside the wooden buildings and cobblestone streets. Everything is within walking distance from the hostel, from shopping, museums, and lakes for swimming and fishing.
